2010 HMIS Data Standards Revised Notice

As part of DSI’s ongoing commitment to assure our customers’ compliance with HMIS Data Standards, we are pleased to announce an upcoming service pack that incorporates new changes identified within the recently finalized HMIS Data Standards Revised Notice (March 2010). The Revised Notice was approved by the Office and Management and Budget (OMB) in late March, 2010.

Data Integration Tech Talk

This is the first installment in our Tech Talk series designed to explain technology terms in easy-to-understand language. The intended reader is the so-called “accidental techie” who has been formally trained to be a social service professional, but ended-up (by volunteering or being volunteered) in charge of leading a social service organization’s technology initiatives. This paper focuses on Data Integration, and overviews the concepts of integration, batch integration, real time integration, one-way integration, and two-way integration.
